Amrita is an Advocate-on-Record and a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court.
She specializes in the space of labour and employment laws, particularly handling of workplace sexual harassment complaints. She regularly advises organisations on all aspects of workplace sexual harassment matters. She regularly conducts training programs / workshops for employees – sharing her learnings on various nuances of sexual harassment, the ways of identifying, reporting and prevention of the same. She also advises and trains IC members on the manner to conduct a robust investigation while dealing with sexual harassment complaints.
She acts as an IC member (external) for several reputed entities and regularly participates in IC proceedings.
In addition to handling workplace sexual harassment cases, she routinely appears before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts on labour and employment law matters. With a practice of more than 14 years, Amrita has successfully represented several domestic and international clients in various judicial forums and has been a part of various landmark judgements.
